Fellowship Programme
Careers, fellowships, and opportunities at the intersection of economics, security, and geopolitics.
Programme at a glance
The Fellowship Programme provides a structured pathway for mid-career professionals to contribute high-quality analysis on issues at the intersection of economics, security, and geopolitics.
Fellows are affiliated contributors who bring academic or professional expertise to CISES’s research and public output, contributing selectively alongside their existing careers.
Progression and development
The Fellowship Programme operates on a tiered structure, reflecting experience, contribution, and leadership within the organisation.
Fellows are appointed at one of three levels:
- Associate Fellow
For mid-career professionals at an earlier stage of their fellowship trajectory. - Fellow
For established professionals with a sustained record of contribution and subject-matter expertise. - Senior Fellow
For more experienced practitioners or academics, with higher expectations for intellectual leadership, mentoring, and visibility.
Progression within the Fellowship Programme is selective and discretionary, based on the quality, consistency, and impact of contributions. Advancement is not automatic and is not time-based.
